4 DIY's with Dollar Tree Peel and Stick Wallpaper || Easy Crafts
Today, we are using Dollar Tree removable wallpaper for 4 fun DIY’s. The first craft we’re making is a Wallpaper Journal. I love using composition books. You can usually find them for a great deal (I found mine for $.56 at Walmart), & they’re great for organizing thoughts and to-do lists. I realized that the wallpaper is the perfect size to make a new cover for the notebook. After making a few cuts, I stuck the wallpaper on the front of the notebook & folded over the tabs. Then I added a label I made out of an index card to the top front of the composition book. My label says journal, but you could customize the label for whatever you are going to use the notebook for like To-Do List, Brain Dump, Finances, or Schedule. The next diy is a Blue & White Tray. The blue & white wallpaper reminded me of the Delft Pottery from Holland. I thought it would look so pretty to use it as a base for a tray. I found the tray at Dollar Tree & painted it white. Then I stuck the wallpaper to the base of the tray. It was surprising how easy it was to apply the wallpaper! It went on and smoothed out perfectly! I love how the paper stands out in contrast to the tray. It really pops! The 3rd craft we are making is a Wallpaper Stand. When I decorate a vignette I sometimes have a decor piece that just needs to be a little taller. I found a wall plaque from Dollar Tree that would add just enough height to those pieces. I painted the edges of the plaque white, & I stuck white & gold peel and stick wallpaper on the the top. The stand looks so pretty! I already know where I’m going to use it in my home decor. The last diy is a Wallpaper Hanging Tag. I used a black tag also from Dollar Tree and decorated the front of it with the white & gold wallpaper. I then made a hanger for it from jute cord & square wood beads. My home decor is kind of rustic modern, & I think this tag will look great with my decor! Thank you for watching!
